I recently met up with a traditional Xhosa musician and she plays native instruments such as uHadi, umRhubhe and isiTolotolo. Madosini is her stage name and I was taking her images for the visiting artists lectures at the music department.

The new pin-hole photographs are a series of images that look at the body. I chose to use pin hole because I liked the simplicity and the lack of quality in the images. The detail in some of the images kind of made me think of an exhibition I saw of photographs in Johannesburg this winter.
