Umhlola

Umhlola is the new series of images submitted for the Spier Contemporary exhibition 2010. Isizathu soku biza lamafoto ngeli gama ndithande indlela lomsebenzi omtsha udibene ngayo. Umhlola means to be embarrased or amazed it depends on the context. Lomsebenzi omtsha indlela ongayo kukuqonda umsebenzi wokuthwebula amafoto ajongene nobume bumntu onje ngam.

Kukho amanye amafoto athwebulwe ngaphandle kwestudiyo ajongene nendalo kawakunye nentsebenziswano phakathi komntu nendalo. La amafoto ajongene nemizekelo enjengomzimba njengomzekelo wesiqu. The body of work is an attempt to steer away from the previous series of images but I still make use of the same ideas in some of the images for example the white cloth.
