Kukho amanye amafoto athwebulwe ngaphandle kwestudiyo ajongene nendalo kawakunye nentsebenziswano phakathi komntu nendalo. La amafoto ajongene nemizekelo enjengomzimba njengomzekelo wesiqu. The body of work is an attempt to steer away from the previous series of images but I still make use of the same ideas in some of the images for example the white cloth.

Umhlola
Umhlola is the new series of images submitted for the Spier Contemporary exhibition 2010. Isizathu soku biza lamafoto ngeli gama ndithande indlela lomsebenzi omtsha udibene ngayo. Umhlola means to be embarrased or amazed it depends on the context. Lomsebenzi omtsha indlela ongayo kukuqonda umsebenzi wokuthwebula amafoto ajongene nobume bumntu onje ngam.

Black And White
The new pin-hole photographs are a series of images that look at the body. I chose to use pin hole because I liked the simplicity and the lack of quality in the images. The detail in some of the images kind of made me think of an exhibition I saw of photographs in Johannesburg this winter.

body

The new emphasis on the nude/naked body of images was a success. The gallery loved the new take and the next step is to print and look at the different combinations that may work. So far I have been thinking about choosing one or two images from this body of work but I am open to suggestions.

Exhibition

I recently went to the What If The World exhibition of Athi Patra Ruga and the Michael Stevenson Exhibitions of Simon Gush, Forex Zineb Sedira and Wim Botha. Athi's works were all great and the show was interesting fun I can't wait to have another show soon. I will be going to the Johannesburg soon to do some research and site seeing plus work.
